Full course description
This course offers a practical, hands-on introduction to making intentional and effective technology decisions for teaching. Learners explore key considerations such as aligning tools with learning goals, understanding student needs, analyzing teaching context, minimizing tech-related cognitive load, and ensuring digital accessibility. The course provides guided “learning tracks” for University System–supported tools—including VoiceThread, Panopto, and Hypothesis—each with examples, guidelines, and opportunities to try out features from both instructor and student perspectives. At the end of this course, you will create an assignment using one of this tools.
